Lakewood Tennis Center

Five stars for Lakewood Tennis Center. Our family practically lives here — my three kids are on these courts most days of the week and I get out to play myself, and it's become one of our favorite places to be. The courts are well-kept and there's almost always a spot to hit, which makes it easy to keep tennis a regular part of our routine. The whole place has a welcoming, family-friendly feel — it's somewhere you feel completely comfortable bringing little ones, and whether you're a total beginner or a regular, you fit right in. The staff are friendly and make getting on a court easy. If you're looking for a place to play or to get your family into the game, this is it. Highly recommend.

In SILVA TENNIS ACADEMY Absolutely terrible experience. I came expecting professional coaching and a positive training environment, but instead I felt mocked and disrespected. Throughout the session, coaches made comments about my level of play that came across as humiliating rather than constructive. When I expressed that I was uncomfortable with the way I was being treated, the situation was handled in an incredibly unprofessional manner. Instead of listening or addressing my concerns, I was made to feel unwelcome and dismissed. I've trained and played tennis for years, and I've never experienced anything like this. Good coaches challenge players while still treating them with respect. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would not recommend this academy to anyone looking for a supportive, respectful, and professional training environment.

A weekday tennis paradise. Courts are often available during the mornings and early afternoon at a very reasonable price ($7/hour). Courts are mostly well cared for and a nice tennis shop with the tennis essentials available for purchase.

Eric Stephens is a great USTA tournament host. Love that the courts are all divided by fences. Very nice people and club!
